Janes partners with global government agencies and leading military manufacturers across the world and is the global leader in OSINT data and analysis.

Janes has pivoted their value proposition from product and news to solution-based. The direct impact of this transition led to a cluttered website and confusing user experience. Janes wanted to build a website that communicated how they support their customers’ missions, how their solution fixes problems and the verified data that they are uniquely positioned to provide. All to be delivered with a targeted UX with Sitefinity CMS.

Remap the User Experience

To achieve these objectives, Spinbox undertook an extensive user experience design process. Stakeholder workshops, qualitive and qualitative research were all conducted to understand the target users and ICP.

The user experience was rebuilt from the ground up.

Our research and insights led us to approach Janes’ new value proposition backwards. We started by looking at the problems prospective customers have that lead to them needing a solution from Janes. This, coupled with a comprehensive restructure of their information architecture (IA) and improved user journeys created a data-driven and focused user experience that effectively communicated Janes and resonated with their core target market.

User research drove the user interface (UI), with a clean design, layout and structure to focus content and improve user engagement. Strategically placed Call-to-Actions (CTAs) amongst content aligned with user goals and their journey maps. Using Janes’ brand guidelines, Spinbox elevated their brand and company values throughout the website, helping shift perception and inspire customer buy-in.

Throughout the implementation and testing phase, rigorous testing was conducted to ensure functionality and performance. Approval processes for wireframes and design were followed to ensure alignment with project goals and user expectations.

Within the first month of site launch, our conversion rate increased by 91% and we had a 193% increase in engagement across our main focus pages.
