Project Management

We kick things off with client engagement, we want to understand your requirements, goals, and expectations. We define the project scope, create requirement documents, discuss timelines and resources required. This phase is vital, it sets a firm foundation for the entire project.

• Look at existing systems in place and your ‘as is’ processes
• Fully understand the user journey; pain points and goals
• Discuss and explore your technical requirements to keep you functional
• Gather existing useful materials e.g. user journey maps, personas, process documents
• Start building a product backlog of user stories

We start to have more detailed discussions with you to gather all necessary requirements and begin building a backlog of user stories for estimation. This allows us to develop a project plan and assign resources for your project. Some key areas include:

• What does the minimum viable product look like?
• Undertake MoSCoW prioritisation exercise
• Plan out rough sprints & iterations required
• Agree on a sprint cycle & ceremonies

Design and development begin according to the project plan; we have regular communication with you to ensure continued alignment with the project vision. We hold regular feedback sessions to ensure the development meets expectations. Key points include:

• We like to work in 2-week sprints
• Project specific daily scrum for the whole team
• Sprint reviews to demonstrate what we’ve built (with you)
• Retrospectives so that we can continuously improve (with you)
• Sprint planning where you can prioritise what we work on next (with you)

A final round of quality assurance and user acceptance testing is conducted before we obtain your sign off for going live! Documentation is created along with any necessary training and handed over to you.

• At this point, we can capture any changes required
• All work is QA tested before it is handed over for UAT
